I am sorry to announce that my mother has passed away today Sadly she succumbed to breast cancer after a long fight. She was a very independent woman wanting to stay on her farm at Uki, NSW until the end.

One of her dreams was to learn carriage driving and unfortunately she was unable to fulfill that dream. Due to efforts from her friends and the kindness of strangers she was offered the opportunity to take a carriage ride two weeks before her passing. Although she was very tired from her long battle, her energy and excitement on the day of the carriage ride was tremendous.

Unknown to me at the time, this was her last outing and she was taken to hospital two days later and never came home. We love you Mum and miss you.
